Delaware Valley Clinical Research Physicians and Staff
Delaware Valley Clinical Research (DVCR) employs two full time staff dedicated specifically to the patients enrolled in current studies. They are available Monday thru Friday for questions regarding appointments, testing, policies, etc. After hours, the staff can still be reached for all emergencies.

Our staff consists of a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 20 years experience in Research, Director of Clinical Research and a total of 25 years in the medical field. DVCR also employs a full time Clinical Coordinator with 3 years experience in all areas of Drug Research. In addition to Research experience, the staff is certified in CPR and Phlebotomy. All staff members are extensively trained in the use of medical equipment needed during the research process.

There are four full-time physicians who oversee all aspects of Delaware Valley Clinical Research and are Primary Investigators in the studies. The physicians include Dr. Donald Auerbach, Dr. Ho-Kan Cheng, Dr. Ira D. Horowitz and Dr. Irwin Spirn. All of the physicians are Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine. Drs. Horowitz and Cheng, in addition to being Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Medicine, hold Board Certifications in Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Cheng, in addition to the above certifications, is also Board Certified in Sleep Medicine. The physicians are licensed by the State of New Jersey and the State of Pennsylvania.
